Mimbre are very happy to remain a National Portfolio Organisation of Arts Council England in today’s announcement. We appreciate the renewed focus on communities in ACE’s new strategy Let’s Create and hope that through our work, especially our free and accessible shows, our youth programme and our support of freelancers, we will more than reward the faith that the Arts Council has placed in us.
Congratulations to the other organisations who have also been included. At the same time, we want to share our heartfelt support with the many amazing companies who did not get included in the National Portfolio this time; so many excellent organisations applied and there is just not enough money invested.
