Mimbre seeking new Board members

Mimbre seeking new Board members

We are currently looking to expand our Board of Trustees and are searching for dynamic individuals from all walks of life to help us develop our work over the coming years and to support the strategic development of the company. Mimbre is an Arts Council National Portfolio Organisation with funding secured until 2018. We have a lot of exciting plans for future productions and projects, so now is a great time to get involved with the company!

We are specifically, but not exclusively, hoping to expand our current Board with expertise in the following key areas:

  • Fundraising
  • Physical performance (we’re really interested in hearing from performers themselves)
  • Theatre producing
  • Chairing

We are not necessarily looking for four separate board members with these skills, but the right candidates will bring their ability, knowledge and experience in some of these areas. You will join our enthusiastic Board of experts within the fields of theatre, circus, community work and digital consultancy.

The Board meets four times a year in east London and in addition the trustees are asked to offer some specific advice, networking or help in their areas of expertise, outside of these meetings. Currently the meetings take place during daytime, although this can be reviewed according to trustees’ availability.

If you are interested in discussing these roles and getting more information on the responsibilities and expectations on you as a trustee, please contact Lissy Lovett on 020 7613 1068 or info@mimbre.co.uk to receive further information.

To apply please send a CV and covering letter detailing how you think you could support Mimbre to info@mimbre.co.uk. Mimbre strongly believes in diversity and would like to encourage applications from non-white and disabled applicants in particular.
