What does it mean to be human?

What does it mean to be human?

We continue our series with the second question.

The young people were asked to think about what being human means to them (something a bit more broad and warm this time).

The answers were truly heartwarming and show how observant young people are.

The pictures read: Being creative, being tolerant, to be yourself have fun and be around good people, a human is a human, having common sense, being curious, adventures, who you are and what you want to feel, to have fun and to express it by laughter.

Being human to them means a number of things including: happiness and communication, having feelings, showing respect and tolerance towards others, being curious and most importantly, being yourself!

If you missed our previous blog, here’s a short re-cap:

During the past few months we’ve asked the young people taking part in our workshops a series of questions relating to themes in our new show, The Exploded Circus. We were really curious to know what they thought on some serious questions, and we’ve been using some of these answers as inspiration points in our rehearsal room.

So, take a moment to think about it. What does being human mean to you?
