So following our post last week about looking for a Project and Tour Production Coordinator we’re pleased to say there’s some more recruitment afoot!

Following the happy news that I’m expecting a new baby we are starting to recruit for my maternity cover.

We are looking for an exceptional individual to lead on all operational, administrative, producing and financial functions of the company during a period of maternity leave. The role will support the achievement of the company’s artistic vision, its financial objectives and its audience engagement priorities.

The right person will have a strong understanding and belief in our vision to help lead the organisation over the next year. Over this period Mimbre are working on many exciting projects including:

• Creating a new show for outdoor touring in summer 2016.
• Re-rehearsing our existing outdoor touring repertoire for 2016.
• Creating a new large scale commission.
• Partnership building, funding and production for a larger scale touring performance for 2017.

Mimbre are a National Portfolio Organisation and the period of this role will take the company out of the first year and into the second year of a three year funding cycle and corresponding business plan. This role will be about implementing the plan that is already in place and beginning the planning necessary to take us into the next funding cycle.

We’re looking for someone with a strong creative producing background and a track record of working in a touring context. Knowledge of the circus sector in the UK and internationally will be a real bonus.
