This Saturday – come along!

Mimbre Collective Movement Festival – a celebration of the variety of mimbre’s work and the great community around us!

Saturday the 23rd of March 4-7 pm at Milton Garden Estate Community Hall

There will be performance from each of the six youth groups Mimbre work with, including Mimbre Youth Company (former Step Up group). There will also be performances from the professional teachers and from Mimbre acrobats, who are about to take off on their international tour. And of course a chance for everyone to get their feet on the dance floor – of you would wish to! The event is FREE, but we will be asking for donations and for the audience members to pay what they can on the door. Everyone Welcome!

Mimbre wants to hold a festival to show off the young people’s talents and skills and celebrate the success of the youth program for the last few years.

We need your help to make this event a huge success. If there is anything you can offer to help with, for example cooking, making signs and poster, setting up the space and clearing away at the end (all skills needed and much appreciated),  then please let me know by emailing me on education@mimbre.com. The more people we have on board the bigger we can make this event.

Another reason to support this event is the fact that funding has got increasingly difficult to secure and the company is unsure of the future of its education programme.

I can’t wait to see all of Mimbre’s youth shaking a leg and performing all together. SO EXCITED!!
