08 Aug Happy Birthday, Silvia!
Today Mimbre’s Joint Artistic Director Silvia Fratelli turns 50, almost exactly at the same time as her 30 years in circus anniversary! We thought it apt to celebrate her with a little retrospective of all the Mimbre projects she has been throwing herself into, both literally and figuratively, since Mimbre began! Happy Birthday Super Silvia, may you keep flying through the air for many more years to come!
From Lina Johansson: “I have worked with this powerhouse of a woman for 30 years and while her muscles on the outside are easy to see, I want to salute her inside strength too. As well as performing high-level acrobatics at the age of 50, she is a mother of two great children, a brilliant friend and the most tenacious woman you could ever wish to train, create and run a company with for 3 decades! I am always in deep admiration of you, and would happily take a bet on you still doing handstands for at least another 30 years… Sending so much love your way!”
