We are looking for board members!

mimbre Falling Up - Eric Richmond and Jamie CurreyWe are currently looking to expand our Board of Trustees and are searching for dynamic individuals from all walks of life to help us develop our work over the coming years and to support the strategic development of the company.

Mimbre is an Arts Council National Portfolio Organisation with funding secured until 2015. We are in the process of developing a new business plan and artistic programme for the next 5 years – an exciting time to get involved with the company!

Having recently become a charity we are specifically, but not exclusively, hoping to expand our current Board with expertise in the following key areas:

  • Business Law and Management
  • Individual Giving and Sponsorship Fundraising
  • PR and Press
  • New technologies and their use by small businesses
  • Chairing

We are not necessarily looking for 5 separate board members with these skills, but the right candidates will bring their ability, knowledge and experience in some of these areas. You will join our enthusiastic Board of experts within the fields of theatre, dance, circus, community work and digital consultancy.

The Board meets four times a year in central London and in addition the trustees are asked to offer some specific advice, networking or help in their areas of expertise, outside of these meetings. Currently the meetings take place during day-time, although this can be reviewed according to trustees’ availability.

If you are interested in discussing these roles and getting more information on the responsibilities and expectations on you as a trustee, please contact Emma Forster on 07966 368 666 or emma.forster@mimbre.co.uk to receive a further information pack.

We will recruit to the board on a rolling basis and review applications as they come in, but for the first round of recruitment the deadline is 11th November.

To apply please send a CV and covering letter detailing how you think you could support Mimbre to emma.forster@mimbre.co.uk
