Some images from Mimbre performing an extract from our new show If I Could I Would at WOW at Southbank Centre this year. Last year's WOW festival inspired us for some of the themes dealt with in the new show - like everyday sexism and super(s)heroes - and today again we came away with inspiration by the many fantastic women and the great energy.

​We got a Mimbre fantastic spring coming up! Here's a list of upcoming events, do join us!
  • We'll be at Women of the World (WOW) Festival on the 12 March with a short extract from our new show, If I could I would in the central bar at Royal Festival Hall, 1.50 pm, more details here! No tickets required to see our performance and there are lots of other interesting free things going on as well as a bursting ticketed programme. The festival is AMAZING!
  • Mimbre Youth Program is presenting their very own superheroes show on 22 March in Hackney, full details on request.

We are currently looking to expand our Board of Trustees and are searching for dynamic individuals from all walks of life to help us develop our work over the coming years and to support the strategic development of the company. Mimbre is an Arts Council National Portfolio Organisation with funding secured until 2018. We have a lot of exciting plans for future productions and projects, so now is a great time to get involved with the company!

‘Wondrous Strange’ Royal Shakespeare Company Stratford commissioned Mimbre to create a special one-off performance celebrating 400 years of Shakespeare’s legacy.The show will be performed twice on the grounds of the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon on 23rd April Show duration: 30mins approx Rehearsal dates 11th – 16th 2016 April in London...
